Education

Patterson received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of California (USC), after completing an Associate of Arts degree in English from El Camino Community College. He has continued his education by studying Industrial & Organizational Psychology at Capella University, where he received a Master’s of Science degree. For his master’s thesis, he focused on strategic employee selection to reduce turnover and maximize productivity in small businesses. Currently, he is completing his Ph.D. in Business Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and is expected to complete that degree in 2021.

Patterson’s various professional licenses including Series 7, 6, 63, 66, 26 securities licenses, Life & Health Licenses, Property & Casualty Licenses, and Real Estate Brokers license.

Career

First licensed in 2002, and having a background in Insurance, Investments, Taxes, and Real Estate, Patterson currently works as a business consultant at The Patterson Group, an Investment Advisor Representative at Transamerica Financial, Inc., and is committed to helping people improve their credit at his firm LA Credit Guy. 

He has worked at Westwood Financial Corp as an Acquisitions/Dispositions Analyst, at World Group Securities as the Branch Office Manager, and as a Real Estate Broker at Keller Williams Commercial Real Estate.^[6  Companies he has consulted for included Quick Mart Stores, where he served as vice president of operation helping  them to expand from 3 to 10 locations within one year.  And is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Del Rey Law Group.
